The subject of this show held particular meaning for me as a cancer survivor, and the images in this series represent my search for refuge while facing and fighting the disease. My series emphasizes the journey itself. Some of the images focus on the longing for a return to more safe and secure times, while others look toward the difficult venture ahead. As with all of my work, transitions occur in a dreamlike state where the endpoint may be elusive.
